Information about Media Kits

So GeeChee One Magazine (www.geecheeone.com) is requesting your Media Kit so that it can be downloaded off the website so that fans and readers can learn more about the entities being nominated. It is a great idea which can provide additional exposure to your business or creative endeavor. Media Kit? Yeah... I've heard that some people are not sure about what is being requested from GeeChee One Magazine.

A Media Kit, also called a press packet, is simply a collection of information that typically includes a letter to the recipient, brochures, testimonials, reviews and a business card. A media kit is a sampling of key information about you and your company, what you do and why they should care.

A Media Kit is purely information and should always be prepared ahead of time! You never know when you will meet a prospective client, business opportunity, or advertiser and having a professional media kit to put in their hands on the spot will insure they remember your business.

Your media kit doesn’t have to be expensive, fancy or elaborate but it does need to portray a clean, crisp and professional image. First impressions count, especially in business. A basic media kit should include, at the very least, a well written proofread cover letter, a brochure, a press release, business cards and information about your companies history and your mission.

Your media kit should be housed in a high quality, professional presentation folder which can be found at your local office supply chain. Folders with diecuts for a business card are ideal for media kits. A simple label with your company information or logo can be applied to the front to further personalize your media kit.

Electronic Media Kits, or some know it at Electronic Press Kits, can be online and can be website demonstrations, PowerPoints, Adobe PDF's, and other formats. Since more publications and information is more readily available online, it is also a good idea to have an Electronic Media Kit.

If you have a newsletter or if you have written articles relevant to your business you may want to include those as well. Other optional inclusions could include a listing of your products, calendar of upcoming events, website links, professional photographs or an invitation to your next event.

Last but not least – Follow Up. Follow up calls can be made 3-4 days after the media kit has been mailed out or emailed. If possible make sure all media and advertising contacts receive an updated media kit each quarter with new articles, press releases and information of course.

Good luck marketing and promoting yourself.

If you are interested in media kits for your company, please fill out the contact form on the GeeChee One website to be put in touch with the right contacts to make that happen http://www.geecheeone.com

Are You Still A Slave?

Don't nobody tell me what to do and I go where I want to go whenever I want to go!"

Well you are right to a certain extent. You can do whatever you want to do and you can go wherever you want to go, but consider this.

You ain't doing nothing and you ain't going nowhere! The slavemasters don't have to chain you down or whip your ass anymore, because you ain't doing nothing and you ain't going nowhere!

You have freedom, in name, but not in definition! You are not a slave in name, but you are in definition!

The definiton of the word slave means, "one who is dominated by some outside influence and having no personal rights or freedom." Do you even remember what true freedom was all about?
The physical chains were just one aspect amidst the many horrors of slavery! The chains are off of our hands, but we ain't producing nothing! The chains are off of our feet, but we ain't going no where! Why? Why? Why?

We have forgotten the original reason and purpose for the physical chains! The chains were to hold you down, but if you ain't trying to get up, then the chains have out lived their purpose!

Your thoughts and your actions make-up the basis upon which your entire life is built. Your thoughts and actions are the only two things that you can call your own! Those are the only two things that are truly yours! Not your money! Not your car! Not your house! Not your clothes! Not your furniture! Not your television! Not your stereo! Not your girlfriend! Not your boy friend! Not your husband! Not your wife! Not your child!

None of this can be called your own, because you came into this world without it, and you are going to leave this world without it!

Now, getting back to the point, you are not in control of your thoughts and actions. Do you continue to do things that you know are wrong, but yet keep on doing them anyway!? You just sitting there wondering why you can't stop doing what you know is wrong. This is because you don't control your own thoughts and actions! You are a victim to a complex system of psycholoical slavery and tricknology.
